How Does It Work?

Many people live with physical pain that limits them in their everyday activities. Headaches stop them from focusing on work, back pains make them unable to play with their children, and injuries make sports and fitness goals difficult to achieve.

If you are dealing with any of these challenges, you might feel like you have no choice but to resign to a life of discomfort. You’re wrong. At mySpine, we believe that you deserve better.

Chiropractic Adjustments

A chiropractic adjustment, also called spinal or joint manipulation, is a therapeutic procedure. A licensed chiropractor uses their hands and, sometimes, specialized tools to gently manipulate your joints. By doing so, they improve the alignment of your body, relieving your pain. As such, chiropractic adjustment is relief — but it is also the art of delivering better mobility, flexibility, and quality of life.

Your Issaquah Chiropractor

Chiropractic adjustments have become much more accessible over the past few years. The videos you see online prove so and further spark curiosity! If you’re seeking an Issaquah chiropractor who can help you truly experience the wonders of the therapeutic practice, mySpine is eager to be of service.

At mySpine, Dr. Justin H. Lee, D.C. welcomes patients struggling with all types of pain and discomfort. As a chiropractic medicine specialist, he focuses on spinal health and its connection to the whole body. Seattle Met awarded him Top Chiropractic Doctor from 2020 to 2025, recognizing his commitment to exceptional patient care.

As an Issaquah chiropractor, Dr. Justin takes his time to understand your pain and how it affects you. Every discomfort is valid, and there is a way to ease it. Your desire to feel and live better is mySpine’s mission; walk in limited and leave boundless.

Our Techniques

mySpine is all about comprehensive treatment. Dr. Justin is trained and certified in various techniques that support chiropractic adjustments.

Kinesio™ Taping

Kinesio™ tapes, first developed by Japanese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979, stretch up to 130 to 140% of their original length, providing free mobility for the muscle it is wrapped around. The tape is waterproof and free of chemical and pharmaceutical substances, popular among athletes and active individuals. Issaquah Kinesio™ Taping does the following:

  • Reduces pain
  • Improves blood and lymphatic flow
  • Aids muscle recovery
  • Influences muscle function
  • Supports joint function

Graston® Technique

The Graston® technique works on muscles with scar tissues, using stainless-steel instruments designed according to the different contours of the human body. These instruments help find soft tissue injuries or build-ups and break them down, facilitating the healing process of ligaments, tendons, nerves, and cartilage.

FAKTR Concept

The Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) concept came from an experiment by Dr. Greg Doerr, D.C. and Dr Tom Hyde, D.C. on soft tissue and fascia disorder treatments. It incorporates instrument-assisted mobilization, kinetic chain rehabilitation, and more, addressing concerns like pain, loss of range of motion, and feeling of tightness.

Our Promise of Wellness

At mySpine, wellness is something everyone can achieve. We have come across individuals who were hesitant about chiropractic adjustments, endured all types of discomfort for years, and tried dozens of remedies. Our team served them all, showing them what they have always been and are still capable of.

We start with your overall physical health. We get to know you and learn about your struggles, goals, and expectations. A complete chiropractic examination follows to assess your mobility, posture, and other related factors. You may also go through in-house X-ray imaging to visualize your spinal, hips, neck, and other alignments. Once we get a complete picture, we craft a personalized treatment plan.

Depending on your condition, we perform spinal adjustments or decompression, Graston® Technique, corrective exercises, and other applicable treatments. You also begin a wellness program that you can practice at home. Any recommendation we give complements and enhances your in-office care. And as we progress, you gradually take control of your wellness.

mySpine is a team of professionals. From office management and X-ray technicians to exercise rehabilitation therapists, we have the right people to guide you. Every question you have is an opportunity for us to teach you about your body, and we encourage you to have your loved ones around during your journey. Your wellness is a collaborative effort, bringing you, your support system, and our team together.

Wellness is an art, and our approach is not just physical. We take your mental and emotional well-being to heart as well.

The People We Help

mySpine is a place where you can carry your pain and leave it behind. The human body is complex, and it is our passion to understand every bit of its composition. It does not matter how old you are, what you do, or how long you have suffered. Our doors are open, ready to free you from pain. If you are facing any of the following issues, you are in the right place:

  • Arthritis
  • Frequent headaches
  • Healing after an accident
  • Joint pain and dysfunction
  • Lower back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Sciatica
  • Stiff muscles

mySpine also helps those who need general chiropractic care. The absence of pain does not equate to complete wellness, so count on us to support you in becoming better. We can determine your current state and see how further improvement is possible.

What Our Patients Say

mySpine has changed the bodies and lives of many people. We are a non-surgical pain center that believes that the relief you are looking for is within you. Individuals, families, and communities have trusted us with their wellness. Read what our patients have said!

  • “Every time I leave mySpine, I walk out feeling better physically (and mentally!) from the treatment by Justin and the warm welcomes from his entire staff. In the year plus that I have been receiving treatments, my mobility, and spine health have improved drastically to the point where any lingering back pain has disappeared.” – Anthony C.
  • “I’ve been seeing Dr. Lee at MySpine for what feels like forever (okay, maybe just 5+ years). And let me tell you, this guy is a miracle worker! I’ve tried all sorts of “treatments” for my hip pain, from yoga to acupuncture to just plain hoping it would go away. But nothing has been as effective as Dr. Lee’s magic touch.” – Angela L.
  • “Every time I come with a new or an old issue, I get the best chiropractic & physical therapy care, pain relief and healing. Issues like knee, hip, back, neck, upper & lower extremities, torn rotator cuff, plantar fasciitis, bunion, IT band, you name it, I got it all fixed.” – Tali N.
  • “Excellent combination of chiropractic, ART, and physical therapy. Finally found a place that can meet all my needs in ONE visit!” – Lora S.
  • “Over the past 13 years, there is not a member of our family that Dr. Lee has not cared for. From our former collegiate athlete who often needed last minute care before a competition or the mom who is a fitness professional who has taught many classes a week for 20 years, but also sits a lot for her day job, he cares for all of it.” – Jennifer E.
