About
Mike is a recent graduate from Soka University in Aliso Viejo, California. During his time at Soka, he received a degree in Life Sciences, with plans to pursue postgraduate studies in physical therapy. Additionally, he took on Spanish as a subdiscipline and further bolstered his proficiency by spending a semester abroad with a local family in Barcelona, Spain. Mike also competed with the men’s soccer team for all four years.
He is originally from Las Vegas and played competitive soccer for 12 years before college. Throughout his athletic career, he has sustained and recovered from multiple serious injuries. Successfully overcoming the challenges of returning to high-level play following these setbacks has ignited his interest in helping others to do the same.
Mike is excited to learn and develop as a clinical assistant under Dr. Justin, and is invested in his philosophy and approach to patient care. He is pursuing a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification to provide advanced-level rehabilitation to athletes and weekend warriors alike.
