Katie Cole

I'm a wife, mother and IFBB Professional Bodybuilder. My training and "mom life" can be incredibly demanding on my body. Over the years I've learned to make bodywork and therapy a priority in my training regimen. I've seen significant shifts in mobility and strength since Dr. Lee and I have started working together. mySpine offers me access to many forms of therapy to continue my success.

Spencer Noonan

Spencer Noonan has been playing Lacrosse since the 5th grade and has grown to be extremely passionate about the sport. With the help and guidance of many coaches he has improved his skills and his play each and every year.

Spencer has been a Varsity Starter at Skyline High School since his freshman year and also plays for Seattle Starz as well as West Coast Starz. He has committed to play Division 1 Lacrosse at Fairfield University in Connecticut upon graduation. Spencer has been awarded University of Denver Rising Sophomore Team MVP, Denver Team Camp Defensive MVP, Adrenaline All Tournament Team, 2012 Division 1 2nd team All State, and this year Division 1 1st team All State Washington State High School All American and Under Amour All American.

In addition to lacrosse, Spencer has his Black Belt in Karate and has an overall GPA of 3.7. He is also active in his community by giving back to the Skyline Lacrosse Club coaching the youth teams. Through Lacrosse he has become an outstanding individual both on and off the field.

Spencer found mySpine to be extremely helpful when he developed a shoulder injury. Through the use of Graston, Active Release Technique and Kinesio tape he was back on the field within days.

Dan Phillips

After taking a 30 year break from swimming, in February Dan Phillips went back to the sport after suffering a combination of running and other injuries on his left leg. He came to mySpine for rehabilitation as he increased his yardage in the pool and tried to regain some of the form that had helped him compete for Auburn University in the 80’s.
The return went better than expected as Dan won state titles for the 50 – 54 age group in both Oregon and Washington and qualified for US Masters Nationals. After each competition Dan would return to mySpine for treatment using Graston, Release and kinesiotape. While the leg problems had been solved, other old injuries and scar tissues became apparent, particularly in his rotator cuffs. After each competition he would visit mySpine to help him heal the shoulder problems so that he could train for the Nationals. Dan would visit mySpine, then head straight to the pool. “Despite Justin’s assurances, before each rehab session I was really skeptical that my shoulder would be ready any time that week, but he would restore the flexibility and I could swim two or three miles that day,” said Dan. “Justin’s work with Release and Graston made a huge difference in my preparation for Nationals.”

In May he went to Indianapolis and placed third the 1,650 Freestyle and medaled in several other distance events. He also set a Puget Sound record for his age group in the 100 breaststroke. Now that he has returned to the sport Dan is looking forward to more competitions this summer in Oregon, Arizona and the Long Course Nationals in Mission Viejo, CA. “Tell the moms and dads that competing again is really fun. I hope other parents can find groups like I have. The Lake Washington team has been fantastic for both working out and traveling,” said Dan. And maybe with just a little more Graston and water-proof Kinesiotape he can get another Masters record as well.
